A resort is a facility that individuals and/or families visit during their vacation o free time. Typically the living accommodations are like a hotel. In addition, the resort has a number of recreational activities. In the winter these activities can include skiing, snowboarding, skating, sledding and other outdoor events. Indoor activities may include swimming, a spa, day camp for children of guests and special programs. Summer resorts offer activities such as water sports, golf, tennis, horseback riding, and day trips as well as indoor activities similar to the winter ones. Some resorts also have casinos on site.
